DOHENY Collaborate With Studio Veteran On New Track
April 14, 2003DOHENY, the new group formed by ex-THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar) and PITCHSHIFTER frontman Jon "J.S." Clayden, are collaborating on a track with Jed Leiber, owner of The Studio on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.
Says J.S.: "It's been an honor to write with Jed. He has an amazing sense of melody and structure. We've both really enjoyed the process and learnt a good few things along the way — hats off to Mr. Leiber!"
Billy added: "It's been a great opportunity to write with Jed and both Jon and I have been made to feel very welcome. The Studio is AMAZING and some of the greatest names have recorded here. The track sounds great and we're all really proud of it. A big thanks to Jed."
DOHENY, who are currently unsigned, are currently working on demos with a view toward recording their debut album later in the year.
